WHERE IS PALAFOX WHARF WATERFRONT RECEPTION VENUE LOCATED?
We are located in the Downtown Historic Waterfront District on South Palafox Street & Gimble. This is across the street from New World Landing. You will see sparkling water behind the great green lawn and huge black iconic doors on the lawn side of the Venue. This is 2 blocks South of Palafox Street and Main Street. Our street address is 617 South Palafox Street at Gimble.
DO I HAVE TO SET UP MY TABLES AND CHAIRS?
Absolutely not!! Check this off your to do list as being completed! ✅ You should not have to work on Wedding Day. The Venue's Team sets up its tables and chairs according to a layout design that is drawn up with you.
The Venue's Team also breaks down its tables and chairs after your event. ✅ After all, you are enjoying your After Party!
We believe that you, your family, nor your Wedding Party should not be working on Wedding Day but rather should be enjoying and cherishing special moments together, having fun, and celebrating you as a couple beginning your new life together!

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED?
Small or large groups, up to 200. Palafox Wharf can accommodate 200 for strolling receptions (144 seated guests) inside the Venue and 125 for strolling receptions (70 seated guests) on its deck.
WEDDING MANAGEMENT and PLANNERS -
We encourage you to use one of our in-house event wedding mangers/planners so your reception or party runs smoothly, flows nicely, be a success and, more importantly, so you can enjoy your celebration without being asked lots of vendor questions. We have in-house Wedding Management/Planners to work closely with you and help you through to the end of your reception. Also, our in-house Wedding Managers/Planners will manage vendor set up and vendor breakdown of your event.
WHAT ABOUT CATERING?
We have an exclusive approved Food Caterer's List. We work to match your taste with a licensed, insured caterer that fits your taste and budget. Palafox Wharf requires that your caterer be selected from our exclusive approved Food Caterer's List which is currently about 16 food caterers. Your catering price is not increased and we receive no commission. This is solely because we want your Wedding Day to be perfect.
Palafox Wharf requires that alcoholic beverages be served only by Richey’s East Catering Division. They bring in the alcoholic product, serve it, and carry out what has not been consumed. They give you credit for unopened bottles after your event.
There are close by accommodations to the Venue, one across the street, one a block away, and many within walking distance. We believe that you should attend your Rehearsal, go to your Rehearsal Dinner, then get a good night's sleep at a nearby hotel, condo, or AirBNB. Wake up refreshed, then, have hair and makeup come to the place you are staying, have the photographer come in for get ready photos, and first looks if you are having first looks. Then, come to Palafox Wharf for your Ceremony and Reception. Have a fabulous time, enjoy your guests and family, and maybe go with your Wedding Party to a nearby for an After Party. Then come back to your hotel, condo, or AirBNB, to stay the night.

DOES THE FACILITY PERMIT SMOKING?
Palafox Wharf is a nonsmoking venue. Smoke is permitted on the deck.
CAN I COME OR LEAVE BY BOAT?
Definitely! And, what a send off! How many Brides can say their Grand Send-Off was by Boat? Not many! But, yours can!
